About the Founder
Tiara Wair is a first-generation college graduate and proud product of District 189 in East St. Louis, Illinois. With over 16 years of experience in higher education, Tiara is deeply committed to supporting underserved communities. She has dedicated her career to guiding students and families through the complexities of the college admissions and selection processes, helping them achieve their higher education goals.
Throughout her career, Tiara has worked at a variety of institutions, from Lansing Community College to Washington University in St. Louis. She has supported thousands of students through leadership roles in recruitment and outreach, admissions operations, enrollment management, and student success coaching. Her work is rooted in a passion for educational equity, access, and success. Tiara understands the challenges faced by marginalized groups and is determined to make the path to college admission, persistence, and completion accessible for all.
Tiara holds bachelor’s degrees in Communications and African American Studies from Saint Louis University. After gaining valuable professional experience, she returned to SLU to earn a Master of Arts in Student Personnel Administration, becoming a double Billiken.
Outside of her professional work, Tiara is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she has served as the Education and Scholarship Committee Chair and the Technology Committee Chair.
